re: All Things Warrior by Kaeru

So.. a friend of mine plays a good warrior tank/dps/dps... and put up a post on his boards the other day on how to do all things tank. This includes specs for now and for 3.1 etc.... Hope he doesn't mind I'm posting it here.

DPS - Fury
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LG0f0fhZGx00E0ubeRVkAo
18 Points in Arms
Key Talents - Improved Heroic Strike (3/3), Tactical Mastery (3/3), Impale (2/2), Deep Wounds (3/3), Two Handed Weapon Spec (3/3)
Swing Talents - Deflection, Iron Will
Comments - You have about 4 points of wiggle room going up this tree.
2 of those have to go into Deflection or Imp Rend (you probably won't be in Battle Stance often enough to make it worthwhile), and 2 of those must go into one of those talents, Iron Will, or Imp. Charge.
53 Points in Fury
Key Talents - Armored to the Teeth (3/3), Cruelty (5/5), Dual Wield Spec (5/5), Precision (3/3), Deathwish (1/1), Flurry (5/5), Intensify Rage (3/3), Bloodthirst (1/1), Improved Whirlwind (2/2), Improved Berserker Stance (5/5), Rampage (1/1), Bloodsurge (3/3), Unending Fury (5/5), Titan's Grip (1/1).
Swing Talents - Booming Voice, Imp. Demoralizing Shout, Unbridled Wrath, Piercing Howl, Commanding Presence, Improved Execute, Weapon Mastery*, Improved Berserker Rage, Heroic Fury.
Comments - As you can see, there is a lot of flexibility with leftover points here. 2 of those have to go into Booming Voice, Imp. Demo, or UW. UW isn't fantastic, Imp Demo is only good if you're the one debuffing bosses, and Booming Voice is handy but not great when you're on Shout duty.
In the next tier Commanding Presence is great, but again only if you're the only fury warrior in the raid and on shout duty. Piercing Howl is nice for herding adds, but not critical.
In tier 4, Imp. Execute decent but not great because Execute is never a go to move; it's filler.
You'll notice I had a star next to Weapon Mastery in tier 5. Weapon Mastery (2/2) is a mandatory talent if you have 18 expertise skill or less. This ensures that, while behind the boss, a minimal number of attacks will be dodged. At 18 expertise and 2/2 WM, none of your attacks will be dodged. You can drop points here as you pick up more expertise. Beyond that, you have flexibility to put a point or two in Imp Berserker Rage (10/20 rage on demand), or Heroic Fury (improved mobility).

DPS - Arms
http://ptr.wowhead.com/?talent=LhrcbfIt00bRdGuioGx00xb(PTR) or http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LhbfdfIt00bRffRtGx00xb(Live)
Due to changes to both Fury and Arms on the PTR the specs will be much closer on DPS than they currently are. Many parses show Arms ahead at current gear levels. Send me a tell if you have any questions about the rotation you should be using in this spec.
54 Points in Arms
Key Talents - Improved Rend (2/2), Improved Overpower (2/2), Impale (2/2), Deep Wounds (3/3), Two-Handed Weapon spec (3/3), Taste for Blood (3/3), Sweeping Strikes (1/1), Weapon Mastery (5/5, Axe > Mace > Sword), Mortal Strike (1/1), Strength of Arms (2/2), Improved Slam (2/2), Improved Mortal Strike (3/3), Juggernaut (1/1), Unrelenting Assault (2/2), Sudden Death (3/3), Endless Rage (1/1), Blood Frenzy (2/2), Wrecking Crew (5/5), Bladestorm (1/1).
Swing Talents - Improved Heroic Strike, Tactical Mastery, Improved Charge, Weapon Mastery, Trauma
Comments - Imp HS and TM are interchangeable with points in Deflection and Iron Will, based on preference. Imp Charge works very well with Juggernaut. Trauma is mandatory unless you run with a feral tank. Weapon Mastery is mandatory if you're under the expertise cap from your gear - pull the points from Imp. Execute if you need them.
17 Points in Fury
Key Talents - Armored to the Teeth (3/3), Cruelty (5/5), Improved Execute (2/2)*
Swing Talents - Commanding Presence, Booming Voice, Improved Execute*
Comments - Improved Execute is a must unless you need the points for Weapon Mastery. Commanding Presence is a must if you're going to be the only warrior providing improved Commanding Shout, or Battle Shout in the absence of a paladin. Imp Cleave is ok, but you shouldn't make a habit out of speccing for better performance on trash. Unbridled Wrath is a crap talent, don't take it. Improved Demoralizing Shout is a great support talent, if you're going to make the effort of keeping it up.

Tanking - Prot
http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LAM00fZhbZMItrx0zidIzsGo or http://www.wowhead.com/?talent=LAM00bZhbZVItrx0zidIzsGo
12-15 Points in Arms
Key Talents - Imp.Heroic Strike (3/3), Deflection (5/5), Improved Charge (2/2), Impale (2/2), Deep Wounds (3/3)*
Swing Talents - None.
Comments - 3/3 Deep Wounds is for extra threat/damage. For more survivability, save those points for Shield Specialization in Prot.
5 Points in Fury
Key Talents - Armored to the Teeth (3/3), Cruelty (2/5).
Swing Talents - None.
Comments - 2/5 Cruelty is all you can afford in this build. 3 points in AttT is more damage/threat than 3 points in Cruelty.
51-54 Points in Protection
Key Talents - Shield Specialization (2/5 or 5/5), Imp Thunderclap (3/3), Incite (3/3), Anticipation (5/5), Last Stand (1/1), Imp Revenge (2/2), Shield Mastery (3/3), Toughness (5/5), Concussive Blow (1/1), Gag Order (2/2), One Handed Weapon Specialization (5/5), Imp Defensive Stance (2/2), Vigilance (1/1), Focused Rage (3/3), Vitality (3/3), Warbringer (1/1), Devastate (1/1), Critical Block (3/3), Sword and Board (3/3), Damage Shields (1/1), Shockwave (1/1).
Swing Talents - None
Comments - The goal here is to maximize both threat and survivability. If you feel a bit squishy, you can max out Shield Specialization. If you are comfortable with your blocking, put 3 points into Deep Wounds for extra threat and damage.
