It's an account setting. You have to set up your Time Zone in account settings where you would also change your password.

Just something I noticed. Web is set up for EST, (GMT-5), but the posts are getting timestamped in straight GMT. I'll see if I can get an answer why, but if you care, a noon post will actual timestamp as 5pm.
